On Tuesday, the Stockholm based tech-optimist think-tank Warp Institute organised the event “Future optimist of the year” stressing on fact-based and optimist storytelling. This year, the award went to Dr Mouna Esmaeilzadeh , who is famous for her presentations and expertise regarding brain and neuroscience. Dr Esmaeilzadeh also spoke a lot about trans-humanist aspects such as life extension, “immortality” and using technology for changes of organs and body parts to improve human progress. And one of her main messages that we are living in the best era in human history despite all pessimistic atmosphere.
